These LEDs in the wide-spread 5mm housing radiate a very bright and dazzle-free light. They are suitable ideally in model construction and, e.g., for marks. The data in mcd are lower than with water-clear LEDs, since the light is not bundled up. The brightest chips are used nevertheless like in the water-clear LEDs.
